Live 1:1 Coaching

Where Practice Meets Refinement ✨

30 minOnline

Service Description

Live one-on-one coaching is a focused, adult-centered support option designed to grow directly out of the Masterclass experience. Rather than functioning as traditional private lessons, these short, regular coaching calls provide space for adults to ask targeted questions, troubleshoot challenges, and make creative decisions with guidance from a professional coach. Coaching is practical, responsive, and shaped by what the student is actively working on—whether that is a song in progress, a vocal concern, a production choice, or a creative block. Each live coaching session is thirty minutes in length and occurs monthly, allowing adults to receive consistent support without the pressure or pacing of extended lessons. These sessions take place on the Saturdays when Masterclass is not in session, utilizing the same dedicated time block to keep the weekend schedule consistent. Sessions are intentionally structured to move quickly into the student’s priorities, offering clear feedback, direction, and next steps. Coaching is rooted in contemporary commercial music styles, including pop, R&B, hip hop, rock, country, and folk. Piano and music production tools are used as supports when helpful—such as clarifying harmony, testing melodic ideas, shaping accompaniment, or refining demos—but are always in service of the student’s creative goals rather than taught as standalone disciplines. Sessions may reference tools like MIDI keyboards or Ableton Live to support exploration, clarity, and experimentation. All live coaching is trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming. Sessions honor each adult’s communication style, sensory needs, energy level, and capacity on a given day. Coaching is collaborative rather than prescriptive, with an emphasis on agency, consent, and sustainable growth. Students are not assigned homework unless it is explicitly requested and mutually agreed upon. Live one-on-one coaching is available only to adults enrolled in Masterclass and Live One-on-One Coaching and takes place during designated time windows to preserve consistency across the studio. This format is ideal for adults who want regular, individualized guidance alongside shared learning—without committing to long-form private lessons or performance-driven training paths.

Booking Policy

At Once Upon a Voice, we are committed to providing a supportive and accessible learning environment for every participant. Our policies are shaped through a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming approach that balances flexibility with fairness. Masterclasses are open only to registered adults. To protect the integrity of the group, each participant must be individually enrolled. Friends, family members, or guests may not attend unless they are registered themselves. We understand that adult learners often balance work, family, and personal commitments. While we encourage live attendance for connection and interaction, we recognize that missing a session is sometimes unavoidable. Every masterclass is recorded and made available to participants, ensuring that learning can continue even if you cannot join in real time. Classes begin and end at the scheduled time. If you arrive late, you are welcome to join in progress, but the session will still conclude as planned to respect everyone’s time. Should technical issues arise, our team is available to help minimize disruption. Refunds are only granted in the case of prolonged withdrawal due to physical or mental health concerns, with prorating beginning from the date documentation is received. Temporary absences do not qualify for refunds, but session recordings and group resources remain available to support ongoing engagement. By honoring these guidelines, we can provide a fair and reliable masterclass experience for all participants. We welcome you to reach out at any time if you need support navigating your musical journey.
