Resources
Step into the beginning of your musical journey with our Free Tier, open to learners of all ages who join our mailing list. Adults may join independently, while children and teens participate with the support of a parent or legal guardian. At the heart of the Free Tier is the Singer-Songwriter Storybook Series, an inviting collection designed for those just starting out. These introductory storybooks explore early skills in singing, songwriting, piano, and music production, using simple digital tools to encourage curiosity and confidence. Warm-ups, cool-downs, vocal care guidance, and foundational music concepts help learners build joyful, sustainable music habits from the very first note. All resources are designed to reflect the same studio-based approach used throughout Once Upon a Voice, where learning and hands-on music-making go hand in hand. Every free member is also welcomed into The Lyric Isles, our private online community. In this shared creative space, students, parents, and legal guardians can connect, share progress, and support one another. Inspiration is sustained through gentle prompts and studio updates, while optional glimpses into paid services offer a sense of where each musical path might lead. Membership in The Lyric Isles remains available whether a learner stays in the Free Tier or chooses to explore additional offerings later on. Once Upon a Voice offers clear pathways for every age and stage. Adults study through Masterclass, with options that include Masterclass Only, Masterclass and Asynchronous Coaching, or Masterclass and Live One-on-One Coaching. All adult pathways include access to the studio’s self-paced courses, with additional support layered in depending on enrollment choice. Young children ages 0–6 are welcomed into small-group classes that support early musical exploration, while children and teens ages 6–18 may participate in weekly workshops or private lessons. Students enrolled in paid youth services receive access to self-paced courses to support learning beyond live instruction. To support accessibility, partial need-based scholarships are available for all services across ages and are awarded in tiers based on financial need. Full merit-based scholarships are offered exclusively for private lessons for students ages 6–18, where one-on-one instruction provides the highest level of individualized support. With the Free Tier, learners begin at the first page of their musical story. From there, every pathway remains open—whether they explore slowly, move forward with guidance, or grow chapter by chapter. The journey is theirs to shape.
